Webshell is born from the convergence of different professionalisms with decades of internet and general software development experience, gained in Italy as well as in the U.K.

The team is led by:

Paolo Polce, 12+ years of programming experience with strong OOP skills, was one of the core developers at Connextra Ltd. (now Betgenius), possibly the world's longest running eXtreme Programming project. Part of the code he wrote is still in the Connextra baseline.

Gerardo Bascianelli, 7 years of OOP experience with C++ and Java, has worked with many italian companies in the publishing industry (Bric à Brac - Napoli, La Pulce - Firenze, to name a few)
With strong database skills, Gerardo has designed and developed software using the most common RDBMS, such as Oracle and Postgresql.
He got into XP and committed fully to it in 2004.

Ezio Ponari, IT consultant and trainer has worked for 6 years on projects for Telecom Italia, Enel, and Assitalia before joining Webshell as Java developer. Ezio has also strong DHTML, Javascript skills. He has taken care of the user interface and the navigability of all the web applications developed at Webshell.
